Could it be that your sub-conscious realizes that a "Daddy Long Legs" is not a true spider?
The creatures most correctly called daddy-longlegs are in their own separate Order which is Opiliones. Common names for this Order are 1) daddy-longlegs, 2) harvestmen and 3) opilionids. They are characterized by having one basic body segment which shows segmentation on the posterior portion, at most 2 eyes and all 8 legs attach to the pill-like body segment.

B/c even though daddy long legs are very poisonous, they dont have teeth so they cant bite you. Plus theyre not as freaky looking as all those other nasty hairy spiders. Im scared of spiders too but daddy long legs dont really bother me.

Probably because Daddy Long Legs are not spiders, nor are they insects. They are called arthropods. There are some that are called Daddy Long Legs that are spiders.

I don't even know why I am petrified of other spiders but not daddy long legs :)
I never have been, but I also found out like a year ago that their teeth are sooo tiny that they can't even penetrate through our outermost layer of skin, which is good to know

because spiders look alot different and daddy long legs just have the 6 legs and they have a simple face

Daddy long legs are the most poisonous spiders around. Truth. Their mouths are too small to bite a human. They also kick the hell out of other spiders.

Because daddy long legs are your friend and keep regular spiders at bay. They are poisenous I think but somehow are harmless to humans but not other insects maybe very small teeth.

Maybe because you don't realize that daddy long legs are poisonous. The only thing is that they can't bite humans because there legs are too long. They can't get down to the level of our skin to bite.
