Many Liberals flaunt their ignorance. They are conditioned to believe lies instead of think for themselves. For example, the late Democrat Senator Byrd was a recruiter and officer in the KKK. Have you ever heard a Liberal talk about that, much less condemn him? Also, the people lynching blacks in the South and belonging to the KKK were mostly Democrats. About now, all the Liberals reading this truth are spewing venom at me for saying it. That's the way they've been conditioned. Then there is the problem of warmongers. Democrat President Roosevelt got us in WWII, Democrat President Truman got us into the Korean War, then lost it. Democrat President Kennedy got us into the Vietnam war. Democrat President Johnson used the big lie, "The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, and caused 58,000 Americans to die, and 100s of thousand to be maimed and their lives ruined. I know about all this because I am nearly 80 years old and I served in the military for 24 years during those times. The Liberals are like cats in a litter box trying to cover up all the truth.

Here's something for you to think about. I'm an Independent so I'm not speaking for either side. I see and hear ridiculous things from both extreme right and left.
But, what about the people in the middle? The ones who voted for Bush and trusted him, the middle class, middle of the road American who gets up everyday and goes to work. They're struggling right now and wondering who they will vote for next year because none of the candidates make since and the parties spend all their time yelling at each other.
I am worried about the working Americans with their dreams and their families who need to know that things will work out. Only 4% of voters are Liberals. The other 96% are something else. Who are you condemning?
Help your fellow American, do not hurt him with this rhetoric.
The beauty of the republic and this democracy is that the government is run by compromise--one side gives a little, the other gives a little and somewhere in the middle we meet.
I won' tell the liberals to shut up, they're too small in numbers and too weak to bother me.
America is under attack right now. We need to unite and be strong. Do you have the strength to acknowledge that someone may not think the way that you do, but they are your fellow American. Find a way to help them. They may have to stand shoulder to shoulder with you someday to battle a common enemy.
Our enemy now are those who threaten the sovereignity of the United States. It is not your neighbor, your fellow American.

The conservatives can not speak unless Fuhrer Bush, head of the fascist neo-con party, first gives them permission. The only people we've seen trampling the Constitution as of late has been the Repub party.

to be honest, I think both liberals and conservatives are stupid. Conforming to a mass idea, completely compromised of ideas that are made to bring the other party down? each side in my opinion has a few good ideas, but the whole party/political side idea is tearing america apart. think for yourself on some issues for a change.

Liberals: Marriage is a holy bond between a man and women. i agree homosexuals should be able to unite, but called something else besides marriage...
Guns if they are widely available to people, then robers will be more afraid to rob us. and it will ALMOST destroy the black market on guns, and eventuall this drug nonsense (whys pot illegal)
