Basically it means your husband only married you because you are a beautiful piece of jewelry to hang from his arm.

It means that the husband chose the wife basically to make him look good, nothing else. He's wanting to make people think that he must be something special if he won over a beautiful woman!! Trophy wives usually wind up on a shelf collecting dust so watch out!

A wife that is meant for show.

pretty much means your meant to be seen not heard.

Or your husband could just be using the term to show how much he's proud to have you as his wife.
