my husband and i are ttc, and one week ago i noticed brownish discharge after sex and lasted for about a day and a half. then nothing for about a week. i am due today for my period and i noticed only a little pinkish-brown when i wiped, then it was gone. has anyone experienced this? never in my life have i had "pre period" spotting. i hear that is implantation bleeding. but would it occur the day of your expected period too? please help. and I don't want to hear some of the stupid comments some like to leave. thanks to all that put in their experiences!!

Even though you've never had preperiod spotting, it could very well be spotting. However, it's possible it's implantation spotting too.
My best advice would be to do the preg. test if you're unsure. And good luck to you both!

The brown stuff is old blood. The pinkish stuff could be implantation bleeding. Make an appointment. It does sound like implantation, believe me..I spend a lot of time in the pregnancy question. Good luck to you both.

sometimes when you have sex, you may see a little blood as a result of his penis hitting your cervix, especially if you have a tilted or low sitting cervix, and it could have a brownish tinge, but you need to make sure you have sex exactly 14 days after your period, this is when you ovulate, but hopefully your already pregnant !

um one ttc? what is that? and two it might of been that during sex maybe he cut you a little inside and it was like little blood and also again pin and brownish that can come with spotting if its older/dry up blood but if it really worries you like you think you have an infection go see you obgyn just to be safe

It your period starting. The fist time it happened to me I went running to my GYN. So now I'm used to it. Just like yourself, it started out of the blue about 2 years ago. and has been my alarm ever since. You'll be fine.

I have experience it before. Its either your vagina cleaning it self out or you might be implantation bleeding. it is possible that your period is coming.Just do not panic or anything or your period might be late because of your stress level is rising.

things change the older you get. it could just be spotting. or maybe you're pregnant? you can spot then, too. take a pregnancy test. if it's negative and you do get your period, it was probably spotting. if you don't get your period, go to the doctor.

It could be implantation, it could be pre period.
Hard to say, but you know all we can really say on here is wait, then test when you can...
