Watch out they are taking fuel out at night. Next month they will replace the fuel so you think your getting 100 miles a gallon. Any thing to go on here? No check engine light, clean air filter? properly filled oil level dipstick is not broken off? I work on those cars every day. Very rarely do we have milage complaints. Most auto trans Sentras get around 29 to 32 miles a gallon when driven like your grandfather did. Manual automatic? and how many miles? any weird noises? Just how many miles to a tank full do you get and did you devide gallons into miles? Your 20" rims low profile tires look great? But sure cut your gas mileage? Any recent repairs?

Step one Check Tire pressure, make sure is the correct amount
Step two change oil, and oil filter
Step three change air filter
Step four change spark plugs
Step five inspect all major electrical terminals (make sure that none of them are loose, or damage, including the spark plug wires)
Step six if nothing of this improves it, maybe you should not accelerate like if you were racing against every car
