I enjoyed my academic success, but not the social part so much.

Just have fun, and work hard. The purpose of high school is to learn, so make sure you keep your grades at least decent. But you know who is bringing the drama into your life, so don't talk to them. Find some good laid-back friends that aren't going to try to drag you down. Join something after school that would be fun for you, anything from a sport to art club to a community service group. Just find the right people and a balance between work and social scene and high school's a blast. Good luck, hope i've helped. [:

My friends have kept me on the right track (mostly).
Also I just have this desire to succeed.
That desire is what keeps me focused.
I want to make the best of my life,
and in doing that, I need to succeed.
Knowing that gives me the passion to do well.
And a tip to keep you focused, don't go on Facebook while you're trying to do the stupid AP packet...
It's not good to be distracted.

I hated high school, and I didn't want to do anything to prolong the agony. So, I stayed focused and did what needed to be done to achieve that end. College was great!
