Alcohol question?

i am just curious can the smell of alcohol effect you in any way im mean like beer type alcohol

Do you mean like being near an open can or cup with beer or alcohol in it. No it can not effect you. but if you put it on your body it can... you wont get drunk or anything but it does show in your system.

I love the smell of an Ice Cold beer ready to be poured into a frosted mug. And the only thing thats better then the smell is probably the taste, the way a beer tastes poured forma bottle that was stored in the freezer for an hour or two is unbeatable.

My father is an alcoholic. For me alcohol smell in general is just bad. I feel like I'm going to gag if I smell it at all. The smell of beer makes me want to throw up more than others though.

I suppose that if you smelled enough of it in a concentrated form, it might intoxicate you, like smelling airplane glue can. But it would still take a lot of sniffing. If it takes 3 drinks with an ounce of alcohol in each drink to get you drunk, that means you have to let 3 ounces evaporate, and inhale them. That would take some time, and it's possible that it would be metabolized by your body faster than it would be absorbed.

I quit drinking 23 years ago and the smell of alcohol, particularly beer, nauseates me, but I don't know of anybody who joined AA just by sniffing it.

nine months sober and I don't want to drink but the smell of beer grosses me out know. I used to drink a case a day of the stuff!

i admire the flavor of alcohol (vodka rocks) I drink alcohol for social motives and to chill out I drink alcohol with acquaintances I drink alcohol to look ''cool'' and ''hip'' i'm probable alcohol dependant
