This is the question. A father a mother two sons two daughters a servant and a dog must make it from one side of a river to the other by boat. Only two people can ride the boat at one time.Only father mother or servant know how to ride boat. At no time can the dog be left with other people. Father cannot be with a daughter without mother present and mother cannot be with sons without father present. When boat is in dock it is counted as if rider is present. The first hint is servant rides dog to other side and leaves dog alone and returns. The amount of rides made are not relevant. The answer must tell how all are transported without violating any of the rules.
