Probably given however many teachers that it'll take to make the standard 8 workday!?! & or to give the students the idea of what an 8 hr. workday will be like once you finish all the required hours to get paid, piss kids off!?!, & ofcourse to give you a clue of what parents do during the day or week to earn the monies needed to have a stable home life only to have the taxman claim you owe for things you may not even have memory of!?! So if you ever get a job & still ask why.. They can....LOL nevermind uh'mm good question !?! lol "R"rrr r-

so that you can learn evry subject carefully?
it's not exactly 8 hours... there were breaks right?
sometimes, (my school) the last period was called "study group" and it's very useless, so i decided to escape... i know people said it's too risky or it's bad to skip classes... but i have reasons... i don't think the school gives the students effort there... and last year, the school doesnt give the study group things to students. when the new principal came, the students suffered... GOSH!! but, i realized.. i heard my cousin (different school) he skipped many classes before... then he couldnt move to the next level... i wont waste my parents money... even its 8 hours-school .. your parents love you and they gave you a good school (8 hours-school) so that in future, you have a good future...

i know ... my answer isn't a good grammer or vocab... ^^ coz i aint american or the person who lived with english language....
so what do you think?
