Yes. I was 11. We knew something big was going to happen on The Ed Sullivan Show that Sunday in February at 8 O'clock. We had no idea what it was. My jaw dropped to the floor. It changed every kid who saw it. The rest is history.

I have it on video tape and it still gives me tremendous joy.

My regret is the joy didn't last. We grew up on The Beatles. I remember playing the "45" single of "Daytripper" at 33rpm in our basement so we could copy George Harrison's guitar part. My best Christmas present was the album"Rubber Soul". Summer of '67. Cute 16 year old girl invited me to listen to the new Beatles album. I was more interested in "Lonely Hearts..." than her. Oh well.

Had the "White Album" on 8-track. Played it constantly while reading, The Beatles Book" by Thompson.

"Abbey Road" No title, just the picture. Blew us away again.

Got the "Anthologies" DVD's and CD's . Incredible.

Got the book: "The Beatles Recording Sessions" Shows the work involved.

Now we are in our 50's and 60's. Life is not what we expected it to be.

Thank you Beatles for a life that was imagined.

February 1964, oh yes I watched it. My dad was mad cuz he was missing Bonanza, but my mom made him let me & my sisters watch Ed Sullivan for the Beatles. I will always remember that Sunday night. I was 12 years old.
