I want to know how to make pillow people. i think the bottom of the sheet is left open. the persons head is in the top of the sheet. People paint faces on them etc. They would look like pillows, except an adult is inside. they are so cut.

To be very honest I don't think I would. I find that the material of today is not the pure material of yesterday or not as available. the clothes of yesterday that was cut up for quilts I think were of wool and cotton and linen and not the blends of today. I have good sheets that are over 30 years old and not wearing out. I bought a new bed of a special size and the sheet set was about $80.00. Not real expensive but when it arrived I found it is very nice and looks as if it will out live me. Old towels are cut up for rags at this house though.

Just use a white pillowcase. Paint your face or design on the pillow case. The person then slips the pillow case over their head and uses their arms to hold up the pillow case making them look like an extra tall comical person. If a group are pillow people have them all wear jeans or something to coordinate. Have fun. Being a pillow person is a lot of fun.
