Oh boy do I agree with you! I hope he gets jail time, at least 5 years and I hope he has to do community service that has to do with animals. I also would like to see him have to pay a fine that would go to the health of animal shelters in his area. Not playing football again would be one of my punishments. He didn't have enough to keep him busy with earning thousands of dollars playing football and being a somewhat celebrity, I would kick him out of the league. No punishment could be to harsh in my opinion.

In my opinion Vick should serve a sentence of at least 5 years. If it was up to me he would never play in the NFL again, and then obviously loose all of his endorsements (which he already had). When he gets out of jail maybe he should have some dates set to talk to people about the dogfighting world and how ugly and cruel it is. I hope though 10 years from now Vick will be cleaning up isle 3 of my grocery store. He knew well what he was doing, and if it was his under the influence of his "entourage" then he should have used better judgment of who he hung out with.

He needs at least twenty to forty years in prison. 18-24 months to five years is not enough. While serving time, Vick should be made to work, without pay, in an animal-shelter, cleaning cages and seeing first-hand what animal-cruelty is really like. He should also be required to donate at least $5 billion of his earnings to the SPCA.

Well, a year off from football would be a start. Serve some time and community service. let's have him on animal patrol, removing the dead and squashed animals from the road

I hope that he gets the maximum allowable under the law. I also hope that the maximum allowable sentences for dogfighting and cruelty to animals get raised.

I think they should put him in a pen with those dogs and cover him in bacon juice! Let the dogs tear him to pieces!

he is a roll model and he knew that when he became a pro so I do think the NFL needs to keep him away from the game for awhile and the law should treat him as you and me would be
