I was just wondering what Yahoo Answer's take is on mothers who leave their kids on the street, just the other day Police arrested a mother who left her baby in a freezer.

It's sick and I for one detest it. The parents should take responsibilty for their actions because they can't just throw a baby away. It has a life adn leaving on the streets is like leaving a piece of yourself and I don't know how som people can do it without a second thought. If they are not ready for the responsibiity then they should not have had a baby. Also leaving a baby in the freezer? What kind of parents are they they are not human. Taking a child life is like more than murder because before the baby can form a life and grow into adulthood it's like you are killing the child with no hopes for the future, all the potential the child might have is being taken away.

Since almost every single hospital and clinic in the United States has the "no questions" policy for mothers who wish to leave their babies or who cannot care for them (ie:homeless,poor) there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for mothers to leave their babies in a freezer or dumpster or anywhere else of the nature. Laws have been passed so these women can "legally" dump their children off in a safe environment where they have a chance, so the women that choose to leave their children in freezers and dumpsters pray the Gods have mercy on them because their karma will be nasty.

I cannot begin to imagine the circumstances which would lead to such an act but life should be held with far more respect. To me, a life that has not yet lived, had the chance to live, is a pretty sad thing, lost potential.
If a person is willing to have a baby, they need to accept the consequences and responsibilities. Choosing to ignore them is never an option in life. Maturing and growing up is about accepting the dependencies that people have on you as you grow out of your dependency on your parents and life in general. This is not even to mention the callous sex that could lead to such an event.
Whether it was an act of licentiousness or simply making a decision and not facing the consequences, there is simply no way in which abandoning a child should be acceptable.

i understand precisely why a mom might abadoned her toddlers...For a guy, because of the fact she might somewhat be enjoyed by way of a guy, than to love her toddlers, she desires to ******* recover from the guy, and love her toddlers, they want her, the guy do no longer...

It is heart breaking to hear of these things..........look in the world of animals........they care for their young..........some should have more animal instinct.........to care for their young instead of distroying it.......
