I'll be in Destin for the Labor day weekend and was just wondering how the weather has been. The weather forecast says that it'll be thunderstorming all weekend, but I know that sometimes the storms just come either in the early morning or late at night and not during the day. At least in Georgia this past week anyway. I know the weather's always unpredictable, but I'd just like an idea of how it's gonna be like so that I can be more prepared. Thank you!

Hi. I live in Destin. There is a chance of storms every day, but generally the storms come and go within a couple of hours, and usually in the afternoon....again, short lived though. It is fairly hot right now, with some afternoon cloudiness, but ore sun than clouds generally. Bring lots of sunscreen, a good hat, and cool clothing andf you'll be fine....you might also want to bring an ipod and some tylenol to deal with the traffic lol Have a great trip!

I don't live in Destin, but I do live on the West Coast of Florida. It's hot and sunny most days, and it usually rains in the afternoon for a short time (especially if you're inland). We rarely have totally rainy days. The thunderstorms usually come and go quickly.
