There is a guy in my ENG101 class that sits next to me and he is very nice. I found out his birthday is July 22 (1987 i think), making him the last day of Cancer. I'm a Sagittarius (Dec. 8)(1988). I know the two don't show potential, but was wondering since he is right next to Leo, would we be more compatible? Any info regarding this is appreciated since I don't know much about this subject.
Also, why is the birth year important? I see it being posted a lot.
One more question: Why doesn't Sagittarius and Aquarius go well together? They seem very compatible, yet they are average.

As weird as it is, i actually see a lot of sagittarius-cancer couples that work out. And since he is on the cusp he might act more like a leo which would make you compatible. People usually state their year and time to find out their other planents like their moon and rising sign etc. Your other signs have to do with your compatibility too. Like if your venus's are compatible than you would probably be good together. Good luck!

actually cancer and Sagittarius relationships surprisingly work often, him being on the cusp you will probably don't even get that sometimes selfish side of the Leo and may benefit from his good sides. so it works 2 ways i would say. in fact there are also a lot of Sagittarius/Virgo relationships, a lot less than Leo sag. so maybe there is something there. personally i don't agree with idea that fire signs are better in relationships with each other, because they may all be fire signs but each one of them is also fall under another category, e.g. Leo is also fixed, Sagittarius is also mutable and so on.
