If I'm looking for a good action PC game that has great multiplayer with other people I don't know, is Halo Combat Evolved for PC a good bet? I'm looking for one with good multiplayer, one that lets me team up with others and has a lot of action.

Yes. I highly recommend Halo for PC. It's a really great game and if you get custom edition you can download tons of multiplayer maps made from other players. If you want to download a demo go to:

Yes. I enjoy the game when I find time to play it. Only problem is I keep finding other games to play for a bit then come back to it, and run thru it on a higher difficulty level.
The multiplayer on it is good as well. By now there should be enough mods for you to do just about what you want with it as far as the games goes.

I own the xbox version but I have played the pc version not as good as playing it on xbox but I would say it is still a GREAT game all around (including multiplayer)

If you want to buy it, get the xbox, because it's not going to be worth it if you cant even get your computer to play it. There's a high chance that if you cant play enter the matrix on it you wont be able to play Halo.
