The sentence isn't correct. "Will" is the correct form of writing the sentence; sometimes people say "would you go with me" as slang or out of ignorance.

In the question(Would you go with me?)You are asking a question with expectation of an answer;it isn't a sentence. Will, on the other hand, leaves room for skepticism. I had two very wonderful grammar teachers that would not allow me to forget the rules of grammar.

thats because "would you go out with me" used above isn't correct, and it should be "will you go out with me". the sentence could mean "would" as in speaking hypothetically in the present tense, most often written "if (something), then would (something else)", or it could mean "would" in the past tense of "will", as in "something would have something else". understand?

"Will" is the future tense marker, not the past tense of "would."

"Would" is the conditional marker, not a past tense of anything.

You need to learn some basic grammar.

I think "would" can also be used as a pre tense.

"Would" is not the past tense of "will". "Would you go with me?" means "Would you go with me if I asked you?" "Will you go with me"? is actually asking if you WILL go. Does this help?
