They're still in the race for the Wild Card, but the Phillies should be beating the Mets for the division right now. Top to bottom on paper, the Phills are simply a better team than New York but they have not been able to get on a roll at all and take advantage of the Mets playing poorly this year. What Jimmy Rollins predicted is what should be happening, but they just lack the spark to do it. Their whole season can pretty much be summed up with Brett Myers outburst the other night.

Chicago White Sox are the worst team I have ever seen. The Red Sox outscored them about 50-5 last weekend. It's hard to believe they won the WS in 2005.

I would say the Chicago White Sox. They have basically the same team that won the World Series only two years ago. They are simply just not performing this season.

Chicago White Sox.
They are in last place just below the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
There is a lot of talent on that team, they did not perform this year at all!

Twins, Athletics, and Blue Jays
All had good seasons (well, the Blue Jays were supposed to be contenders this year), but have just disappointed this year. Ditto to the White Sox

whilst the concensus marvel team of the season is clearly the recent Orleans Saints, the main important sadness of the season could flow to the Pittsburgh Steelers. final twelve months's super Bowl Champions appear as if they're extremely a step or 2 earlier to Cleveland this twelve months. Carolina is in 2d place for disappointments with the Giants in 0.33.

although I'm a Yankee fan, I would have to say the Yankees. Yeah, they are playing better lately, but no where expected as where they should be.
runner up, oakland.
