All he can really do is wait for his growth spurt which usually comes near the end of puberty for boys so he's going to have to wait a few years. There's no foods that can magically make you taller or everyone in the world would be huge. You have to think about it logically.

Sometimes in life you just have to except things for now, a nd plus you have to try to convince him that he still young and going through puberty goes start growing when there in middle school, and your son is still young, dont worry later in high school he's probaly gonna be really tall.

There is nothing you can do or eat to become taller. Height is a pre-determined genetic factor. He should really be looking at the height of his parents, grandparents, or uncles.

he needs to be patient. he may get taller, nay not. no magic here. nothing he does will change his height. maybe have his pediatrician talk to him about it. a doc can explain it better. all you can do is reassure him that he's a great guy no matter what.

You cannot naturally alter the height of a person. It is genetically decided.
