Am I crazy? I think I would prefer my husband to look Playboy than to watch GGW. It just really irks me for some reason to see girls barely out of high school acting so stupid and showing their goodies for free. Plus the commercial comes on every night, late night on say the Comedy Channel and I get so embarresed and tell my husband to change the channel. I guess it's just a little too close to home for me.

The reason I ask is because my husband told me last night "you should buy that for me." trying to be funny, but it just pissed me off.

For W S, I am good looking just too let you know but I've always had a bit more class than that.

Also I do have a 4 year daughter and I don't want her surrounded by this stuff or to grow up thinking this is normal. I promise she will NOT grow up this way.

I'm 7 months pregnant also so I'm not at my best physically either. Maybe a little emotional too.

Thanks everyone, I wasn't expecting so many responses either. It just goes to show that it does bother other people as well. I had no idea.

As far as being jealous, if I didn't love my husband then I guess I wouldn't give a sh*t what he did but then again why would I be married to him if I did not love him?
He is a good guy and I know he would not do me wrong, it just doesn't change the fact that these girls, just a few years ago were playing with their dolls.
If I was so jealous I would not say I'd rather him look at Playboy either.
To the girls who say I'm jealous, you need to grow up first and then say something. If you are not jealous then you must think that you are Gods gift to men yourself.
To the men who say I'm jealous, well surprise, surprise.

Close to home meaning it could be the girl next door or my own little cousin. No I wasn't innocent either and my not agreeing with this behavior does not make me prude.

My wife and I are of the same opinion as you, when the advert comes on, we turn over.

Its not right that they sell sex involving so many young women barely legal and out of college. She doesn't even ask for it to be turned over, as soon as I see the warning I grab the control and change to another channel.

I can't believe GGW is even allowed; showing underage girls drinking! That's breaking the law! I think the initial concept was a guy with a video camera going to some spring break parties where the college girls act like that anyway and they made money off it. Now, they go out looking and conniving to get as many young girls to drink and act stupid. Its out of control. No one should support that. My husband watches Playboy which I'm not thrilled about but the women are beautiful and sexy; he has the magazine and the channel. I am very attractive and was contacted to be in the Playboy Women of Starbucks issue a few years ago with a photo that was submitted on line but I don't know...is it really right to put your stuff out there? Maybe I'm getting older but I wish we could just do without these things.

No, you are not crazy. I think it is like you say, GGW is too close to home, it could be your neighbor, your friend's daughters, or worst case scenario, your own daughter caught up in the heat of the moment while on spring break. Spring Break is seen as a rite of passage and these girls are so easily influenced into baring a little bit here, a little more there. The girls in the magazines seem a little more unattainable.

I think every guy likes to look.. What is he really hurting.??However, if it is really bothering you that much watching it, he should probably wait until you leave the room.
I am not a fan of the GGW. I am actually a little weird and find women sexier when they get into the 30-50 range..So unfortunately for me there is no Geriatrics Gone Wild..(Kidding, I am in that age frame too) Needed something that started with G

Have you read the lawsuits against that guy (JF) in charge of it all?

Those girls are told they don't have to participate in order to just come inside, and enjoy the fun they will see.

So, outside, they sign legal waivers, enter for all the dancing and free alcoholic beverages they want, then get egged-on by paid GGW employees posing as other innocent clubbers.

The next morning, they awake to the most foolish feelings they have had in their lives, and there is mostly nothing they can do about it.

I'm with you. There is something that is so sickening about watching those trampy little sluts staring into the camera and acting like they are the best thing to come along since cotton. It literally makes me want to vomit. And then when they hype up the fact that they are "College" girls, I'm like, OMG, THIS is the FUTURE of our SOCIETY? Having been married almost 20 years, I can tell you that I don't approve or tolerate that kind of garbage in my house. Fortunately, I have a husband who respects that, AND he is mature enough to realize that he can turn to me for those types of urges. Alot of marriages have been harmed or ruined completely because the man can't grow up and out of his silly, immature fantasies. Don't buy into that lie that "All men do it" or "It's a guy thing", because that is a crock of you know what.

All of it is rather silly but how is GGW close to home for you? Unless I'm reading that wrong it sounds like someone you know was on it or you remember doing something like that in the past. Of course you could have meant that it strikes a nerve with you in which case my apologies for misunderstanding.

He sounds like he enjoys that because he's vicariously reliving his highschool days through this media. That being the case, go out with him & be silly for a little bit. Have some daring sex. Whatever the case may be, put some sizzle on so he forgets these GGW strumpets. Show him what a REAL woman is like!

I'm glad I'm not alone i feel the same way about that dam DVD.
Many times i answer a question about girls and how wild they are becoming and i get so many thumbs down when i talk about how the girls will lift their tops for anyone who ask and how the night clubs are filled with girls wearing short skirts and no panties on. My son and his friends talk about that all the time how they like to look but would never think about laying down with one of them. The guys out there sure do like to look but they would never take one home to meet the parents. So many girls these days lost respect for themselves they are out to have fun and sleep with as many guys as they can. What happened where did it go wrong and why don't they care about what they are doing. About girls going wild shame on those girls they are so nasty looking most look like they belong in porn. My husbands eyes pop out of his head when it comes on the TV and i sit there thinking to myself, how does one compete with girls like that.

it nice to see a woman taking a moral stand. You are a bit jealous but that's okay. What he is really doing is telling you this is his kind of sexual adventure. The thing is that GGW makes and is, a role model from these girls exploiting themselves for cash. You know what that's called, "A HOOKER."
