While many German cars are electronically limited to 155 (TUV requirements in Germany require tires appropriate to the car's maximum speed, so keeping it to 155 allow for fitting less expensive tires)... however Porsche does not, and never have used electronic limiters on their cars. If you go back to the early and mid 1980s, you will find cars that topped out in the 150-160mph range, but most all since have been capable of more. Of the current offerings:

GT2: 203mph
Turbo: 193mph
GT3: 192mph
Carrera S: 186mph
Carrera: 175mph
Cayman S: 171mph
Boxster S: 170mph
Cayman: 160mph
Boxster: 159mph

hmmm... looks like ALL of their current car models top 155!

A lot of porsches can go over 170 mph. If you're not looking at race cars the Carrera GT is the fastest with a top speed 205 mph but porsche's are designed with acceleration and handling in mind which limits top speed due to gear ratios and aerodynamic devices.
