I am extremely thirsty so I look it up on the web, and its a normal thing that happens, then I read some cities have unsafe lead amounts in tap water, and some bottled water as well. I was wondering if anyone knew of a really pure bottled water that is ok.

When I was in school we learned that tap water was better than bottled as tap has more regulations than bottled.

Unless your city is on the unsafe list, drink tap water. Most bottled water isn't that much purer, if any at all, and the plastic bottles cause all kinds of problems.

BTW, if you're really thirsty, talk to your doctor. Gestational diabetes can cause problems for you and the baby.

Bottle water is actually worst than some tap water. Reason being is tap water is always tested to higher standards than bottled water. Not only is bottled water not that great, it causes more pollution with the plastics as well as the fossil fuel used to transport. My suggestion is get a Brita or Pur filter--there's your best water.

Wonderful that you want to drink lots of water, good for your body, good for baby! You're right to be concerned about lead, as lead poses a major health risk. I purchase bottle-your-own water from my local grocery store. It is purified via reverse osmosis, which removes all impurities. If you purchase and re-use the plastic containers it is a lot less expensive, as well as being easier on the environment. I pay $0.33/gallon, as compared to about $1/gallon for bottled water off the shelf. Safeway has the bottle-your-own dispensers, but I'm sure there are other grocery stores as well that have the dispensers.

Unless you live in a very old condemned building you're not going to have lead in your water. The lead is not in the water, its in the old 19th century pipes.

If you're very concerned just take a sample of your water to a testing facility, you can call your local real estate agent to find out what facility that would be and what the address is.

All is fine, but Fuji is supposed to be the most natraul and pure. Evan has somthing that may or may not cause cancer. Most water is tap water boiled down with minerals added. Some spring waters, who knows where they came from.

Any water is good water, as long as you stay hydrated. Most cities get their water tested daily to make sure the levels aren't too high for human consumption.
