Yup. Sometimes it is not enough: love does not conquer all, but I still love those goddamn fairy tales.

Sad but true. Love is never enough. If there is not mutual respect, caring, trust, friendship and shared values- love will die. It is just the nature of love. It is not about flowers and chocolates, though those things are lovely. It is about working through hard times and enjoying the joyous ones. Sharing and growing and sacrificing. Those are the ingredients for sustaining and nurturing love and keeping the relationship alive.

You are rigth, i think so.
It takes a lot more than love to have a commited relationship, and keep it.
It takes exactly that, commitment, understanding, communication and perserverance.
You need to find out that your partner is not that extraordinary person you saw when you first meet her or him, and he or she will realize the same about you.
And both will have to use all those tools in order to keep your love alive despite that fact.

That is true... when you get to the point that one is taking it for granted, but not willing to keep tending that garden and letting weeds keep growing thru it, eventually it chokes what you built together and it dies.. you might always love each other til the day you die, but you gotta be IN LOVE with each other too, or it is over..

For the situation that "we" are currently in, yes it is. Because it is stronger than anything i have ever felt before in my life.
And in the end, love and all the things that come with it, respect, admiration, trust, loyalty.......etc. It really is all that matters. And it is what's going to see us through.

sadly that is the case sometimes. usually it has to do with circumstances that cannot be changed, but it's a very sad thing to go through.
