My friend said a sentence with that in there. My friend just so happens to be a guy and I don't want to act stupid and ask him what it means. Any ideas?

It depends on where you saw it?
Ive' seen it used in a couple of places.
1. PLAYBOY (as in the gang "westcoast playboys")
2. A telephone company term that means "Public Phone Line".
3. As a military term (acronym) for a type of plastic explosive
"PBX".(precursor of C=4).

On www.lingo2word.com, I saw PBB which means "please be brief."
PB could also refer to a Packard Bell computer.
