it can be hard...
The problem with Acting is that Actors sometimes have long periods of time without work, unless you get a big name, and then everyone wants you.
but you have to have side jobs as well

It is the hardest job in the world to be a regular actor let alone a star. Then a star has no private life, is hounded by paparazzi and reporters and has to hire bodyguards to protect them from crazy people.

I don't think that you are a true actor unless you are happy doing what you are doing without wanting to be the next Tom Cruise. Believe me, you want respect for what you are doing, not just stardom.
