I just tried using control panel. It looks like once you click on the mouse icon, you have to click on each tab at the top of the window to adjust the buttons, wheel, ball, etc.

i do no longer understand what OS you're employing yet in Win XP, i flow to regulate panel, mouse.. then in Buttons tab, there's a element for double click velocity. I merely replace the slider to what i want. If that doesn't paintings, your mouse could be undesirable. examine if the mouse buttons are caught interior the "pressed" place. If no longer, then get a clean mouse.
