The period like cramps are totally normal. It's your uterus stretching. They usually won't see you until this late, because most pregnancies are pretty routine and they will only really monitor you closely if you have miscarried before or are at a high risk for miscarriage because of your age or an illness you may have. I would not let this upset you, because as you have heard I am sure, stress is not good for the baby. I'm sure everything will be fine. As long as there is no bleeding or weird discharge, the cramping is normal.

Very normal. My doctor told me he'd be worried if I WASN'T cramping. Everything is stretching and changing to make room for the baby. If you start bleeding, then go to the ER. ALso, I told my OB that I had a previous miscarriage (which was true, but they never check your records or anything) and that I was worried and they got me in at 8 weeks for an ultrasound.

I had cramps on and off during my pregnancy. In the beginning but it was nothing (still tell your doctor though). Then btw 6-9 months i began getting braxston hicks. Put your fit up with some pillows and drink lots of water. Inter-course can also cause these cramping. So its best to lay on your side

you normally have to wait for 3 months because anything can go wrong(a miscarriage)and there is nothing they could do for you.
They like to make sure you are have a viable pregnancy(only a small number of miscarriage happen after 12 weeks)that's generally why most people hold off the baby news until they are 12 weeks.
Cramping is entirely normal!
you get it all throughout your pregnancy.
It's bleeding you need to watch out for

The cramps are normal. I have them also, I am 6.5 weeks. My ob/gyn says that it is completely normal and not to worry or stress about it. A lot of Ob/gyn's will not see you until you are 12 weeks along. Do you have any other choices? Try one of those if you do, they may see you earlier and that can put your worries to rest.

the cramps are normal, as is the 3 month appt. All you need to do in the frist trimester is take your vitamins and eat healthy. There is nothing you or your dr can to to keep something from "going wrong" Congrats and good luck!

Yes, that is normal. It is just everything in your body changing and adjusting and moving around. I didn't have my doctor appointment until week thirteen. They like to wait so they can do an ultrasound. Seeing the ultrasound really hit home and made me feel pregnant not just like I had the flu. Good luck to you!

this is normal due to your body stretching! I understand that you are worried but this is causing more stress on you and the baby so relax and if you experience any abnormal bleeding then call the doctor but you'll be fine
