I'm not asking this question because i think they're sellouts, just trying to resolve a puzzle in my head. They say sellouts are bands that commercialize themselves, but...if they don't commercialize themselves then how the hell are they going to get famous therefore give them a future in the music industry?

They didn't sell out. They just bought in :-)
Seriously though, they make the exact same kind of music now, that they made in 1992! Just because MORE people buy it now than then doesn't make them a sell out. Just popular. They've experimented some but they should! Imagine if all the Beatles' records sounded just like the first 2 or 3? Some musicians don't sell out to get popular. They get popular doing their music their way and then it's always some arrogant talentless so-called fan who accuse them of selling out - oh because now his sister listens to the same music he does so that band is now a sell out - In reality, he's the closed-minded sell-out. And the ultimate loser. Okay, I'm done...lol ;P
