What must someone do to make you lose your trust?

It's pretty hard for me to lose my trust in someone. It's happened before, but it took something big to do it.
I mean, anybody can make a mistake, and I won't fault someone for that, but to actively go out of their way to purposely screw me over is something completely different.

Unfortunately sometimes I have a thin shell when it comes to trust because when you put your all into a relationship for a period of time and this person who believed love you really did not then it can swallow up your trust. Lying to me is definitely one way to lose my trust and it takes a lot to get trust back.

It takes a while for me to be able to trust someone. A lie, makes it hard to trust someone again.

It's very easy for me to lose trust in someone. I've not always been that way (which is why I am now) but now that I am a good lie , backstabbing or promise broke could do it for me.

it can be, but then again I am a glutton for punishment. I would love to say that all it takes is a lie, or a betrayal...but thats not true. I have forgiven even the worst of things and I may be leery of trusting but I usually do even when I shouldnt

Miss "T" First I want to wish you a pleasant night! there is one thing I don't like about a person(one that thinks they know a whole lot about everything) , that would lessen my trust! Of course there could be more reasons, Jimmy.

i tend to trust people real easy but that has just caused me problems!!! to lose my trust all you have to do is lie to me once....
if you lie, then there are plenty other things that you aren't telling me!

i don't lose trust easily!!but when it is lying and betrayal then i do not trust again!!then i need a lot of convincing to trust others!!
