I often see people at work who seem tired, fatigued, bored or otherwise under the weather. What's a little thing you do to get a smile or to cheer them up, or at least make their day a little more interesting?
Vice versa, if you're at work and you're feeling blue, tired, bored, etc., what's something a customer can do (or has done) to make your day a little brighter?

I smile, say hello, ask how they are, ask if there is any work I can help them with, offer them a snack (we have them at work) or to get them something from the kitchen, bring them their mail or a fax, tell them they look very nice today, it's not hard when you do it enough times, it is the only way to get through the day!

Nurses love chocolate and it seems we all have a smile on our faces when we have a box sitting at the nurses station( often given to us by paitents or releatives)..am guessing that it would have the same effect on other work places....

Tell me I'm appreciated and help full. Try giving someone in the dumps a flower or a cookie. Just knowing that someone notices is a great boost to the body and mind.
