Believe, they - because board is a collective noun. It is not the board as a unit that will hear evidence but rather the individual members of the board. Then they will make individual decisions.

Believe is right, but since "board" is singular, they is NOT correct as it is plural. "Its" is incorrect spelled this way. You should spell it as "IT ' s" meaning "it has" and change "hear" to "heard"--"it has heard" the evidence, in other words.

If the sentence is correct as you have written it, the answer must be 'believe and they', since 'believe and its' is quite simply wrong.

Neither is correct.
The correct answers are "believe" and "it" hearS
(Board is singular; to make it plural you would say "board members")
