I'm no expert on the topic, but given the American competetive nature, surely you have to acknowledge that without the black athletes USA's sporting prowess would be less than impressive. The US Olympic teams 3 strongest specialties are track and field, in the pool and team sports. Granted swimmers tend to be caucasian due to the leaner (less muscle more tone) builds, but last I checked the majority of the USA's medal winners in both track and field and team sports (baseball, basketball, etc) were black.
I'm sure you've cheered on more then one baseball, football or basketball team that earnt their victories via a co-operative effort between the white players, black players, hispanic and even asian players. Deal with it.

If any Individual of COLOR was absent from sport's rating's would go down. Nike would be in trouble along with all the other endorser's who use people of COLOR point blank sport's would be boring.
