Sure, why not? There are stores and coffee houses around ours so it isn't a bad thing. I do my comforter there, it's clean and well lit.

With four boys (14 mos. to 13 years) plus my husby and myself, a dryer that takes at least two cycles to dry one load, and an active busy life where laundry sometimes gets backed up, I have done this several times. We make a game out of it with the whole family, and are done in a fraction of the time. On the other hand, we try not to do it too often due to cost and teaching the children how to keep up with things daily instead of letting them pile up.

I wash daily, so I never let the Laundry build up. I do go to a Laundromat to do Comforters, blankets, jackets ect. Norman you have not changed your Avatar to Laundry Guy yet?? :)

yes, i would because it would definately be convient.
however, the headache comes when you have to haul all these clothes back home. hell when you have to haul it there.
it is a headache to wash big loads all the time. i suggest you guys come up with some solution like washing more than once a week or every two weeks. you may need to wash at least twice a week to keep your load amount down.

i would just do them at home in several small loads, but i do a small load every day that way i won't have any large loads.
that is why i pay my water bill and own a washer and dryer so i don't have to go to the laundry mat.

NO I would not.
I do not want my unmentionables spinning around in a machine where some pervert washed his clothes right before me. How would I know what someone before me had done in their underwear and how much of that something was left in the washer to get on my clothes !!!!!
