It is my definition of religion:
Religion is a part of a person's identity. It is a part of daily life. Many people make lifestyle choices because their religion or lack thereof. It answers life questions that science cannot answer. It also provides security in life.
Can you help me make it sound more scientific,please?

I would call it the set of a person's beliefs and practices in relation to God. It is independent of science, since science deals only with the physical universe.

A basic makeup of a person is whether they have religious beliefs. An individuals choices during the day are made up from their respective belief system. Most religious beliefs require faith which science can't prove or disprove.

Since there is "no science in religion," and "no religion in science," I think your definition sounds very good just the way it is......don't change it to add science to religion.

Science=Theory, experiment, facts, etc
Religion=Story, faith (belief in something with no basis in reality)
