I have a pretty consistent cycle 28 - 30 days (same length since Jan.) I have been charting my bbt for 2 months. Last month the chart said I ovulated on day 16. This month my temps are all over the place and no "O" as of day 17. Can you have a consistent cycle and not ovulate?

Yep sure can. You can menstruate every month like clockwork and not ovulate. It is very possible to have a period and not ovulate. You can also ovulate and not have a period.

My advice... keep charting. Sometimes, we ovulate late. Just because you haven't ovulated yet it doesn't mean you won't ovulate at all this cycle. Back in April, I ovulated on cycle day 27! I had also put my dog down that month and was highly emotional. So... lots of things can interfere with ovulation.

Keep charting all the way until you get your next period. Only then will you be able to call it whether you did or didn't.

Good luck.

Yes, it is possible to have a cycle without ovulating.
It is also possible to misread those temperatures.
A change of only a fraction of a degree can be all the difference there is. I would suggest that you make sure you do not get out of bed in the morning, or move around at all, until you have taken your temperature. That will affect your readings. Also, you could try those test strips to back up your temperaure readings, testing for alkalinity to see if you are ovulating. Good luck!

It's possible to not ovulate with a regular cycle, but not likely. If you could post the link to your chart it would be very helpful.

Yes you can. You should see your doctor to discuss your options. She may put on a drug, such as clomid, to help you ovulate.
