Does anybody know why they took the Roller coaster off of the top of the stratospere in las vegas....?

As far as the wind blowing to hard.......any time LV gets high winds they close EVERY ride on the stratosphere - it wasn't just the roller coaster.

Here are the true facts:

High Roller - Stratosphere Tower Hotel and Casino

This roller coaster is unique since it is built on top of the 900-foot tall Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. While the coaster is a simple design that just makes continous rounds around the tower deck with little to offer, the view is amazing. Unfortunately, the High Roller closed at the end of 2005 and is being removed to make room for a future attraction.

I didn't know that they did that! I felt like I had whiplash after riding that thing! It was always closed down due to high winds too...

insurance and also was getting stuck and causing some hair raising resuces. no plans for a alternate at this time.

Because the Insurance became too expensive and the rides weren't that great....... it was too scary for one thing.
