right click on an open area of your desktop
go to properties
go to settings
on the left find screen resolution
set higher than it is. 800x600 is normal
if it won't reset then check to see if your computer recognizes the display adapter. you should see
?monitor on ?? display adapter directly above the resolution setting
If this is not present then you will have to find the driver for your adapter.
you might try to have windows find it by uninstalling the adapter in device manager and then letting windows find the driver.
If this doesn't work go to the manufacturer of your computer and see if they have the driver there. It will be listed under display adaptors

Increase your screen resolution by right-clicking on an empty space on your desktop, going to Properties, then Settings.
Adjust your screen resolution using the sliding bar to (try) 1280 x 768 pixels. Click Apply, then OK.

If you are using IE6 or IE7, click the Page button and, from the drop down menu, select Text Size. Choose from Smallest, Small, Medium, Large or Largest,
On the same button you can also alter the Zoom magnification of the screen.

Right click on your desktop.
Click on properties
Click on settings.
See Screen Resolution, drag the arrow to the left or right side changing the resolution according to your monitor, then check until you have the correct resolution.

The resolution may have changed. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Display and go to the settings tab. There is a slider in the lower left that adjusts your resolution. A higher resolution means everything is smaller, and vice-versa.

I dont know exactly what you did. But something weird happened! lol! I've had that happen to me too!
Here's what you do:
Do this only if you have Windows XP though!!!
Go to Start.
Go to Help and Support.
Under "SEE ALSO" click on System Restore
Follow those instructions.
That should work.

First you need to download display driver (software) so you display can be adjusted to normal size.
This problem is because your computer doesn't have original display driver and therefore it try to use generic display driver (with bad resolution, since it is not original) so you can get some display on your screen.
