I'm making candle holders with vellum paper and will be gluing it with mod podge glue. But will burning a candle in the votive holder make the paper fall of the candle holder?

If I understand you right, you'll be covering a votive candle cup with vellum paper and this paper will be glued on with mod podge..right? When I cover votive cups will vellum that I have printed a design on. I tie the covers with a small piece of cord. I make the covers a little short for the cups. At each end of the cover I punch a small hole, and thread the cord through. The cover is then slid over the cup and tied tightly on. This allows me to remove the covering to wash the cups and use them over and over with different designs.

I read a rather lengthy article at http:glassattic.com regarding different glues, and according to them mod pog glue isn't very good for extreme heat or cold.

I would think that if you can put a brush to it it will work out fine for you. Jenn
