Collge dictionary does not have what I'm looking for. Can anyone refer me to a good place to "look up" words?

www.dictionary.com
www.m-w.com (the Merriam-Webster dictionary site)
Just type in dictionary in the search area and it will list bunches of sites that are good. A ROGET'S THESAURUS is a good book to own--it lists words, their antonyms, synonyms, others with the same part of speech, etc.
