It really is a cardboard cut-out of Ted Danson. If you have seen the movie, Ted Danson played a guy who was into the advertising business and was a 'poster guy' for commercials like for toothpaste, cola and all that stuff. That cardboard cut-out was one of those advertising cut-outs. In the same movie, you would also see that cardboard cut-out and actually see that it is Ted Danson.

Well, i saw a TV show in VH1 about movie bloopers, and they talked about the movie 3 Men and a Baby. Well, it turns out that they put that cardboard figure there as a practical joke, and it ended up coming out in the movie.

I heard that it was actually a cardboard cutout that they forgot about and didn't notice while shooting the scene.

oh i heard it was either the directo, producer, or someone's kid that wanted to come on set and hid behind the curtain
