I cant log into with the default wireless address, i reset the modem hoping that that would help and it changed the name of the router but i still couldnt log into it with 192.168.1.0

what do i do?

and if its one of my own address. how do i reset that address.

You can't log onto it because this address is on your local machine. It's one of your own addresses.

The 192.168.1.0 is not an address so this will never work.

Are you sure of the IP address of the router? Open command prompt (start, run - type in cmd and hit enter). In command prompt, type in "ipconfig /all" without the quotes and hit enter. It will show you the IP address of each of your connected devices. The default gateway is probably the router address because you most likely do not have a client - server arrangement. Use the default gateway IP address in Internet Explorer and it should take you there.

Also whenever you address a wireless device for config purposes use a WIRED connection.
