It will probably work....If the powersupply is the 19v 3Amp then it will most likely get really really hot and perhaps break/melt. If the powersupply is 19v 4.5 amp then It should be fine(your computer is getting the correct voltage and should only pull the 3amps that is needs)

You never specified what power rating went to what item.

What will most likely happen is that your power supply unit will become incredibly hot ... that's if it manages to give enough power to switch on your computer in the first place.

As has already been stated, you could probably get away with a power supply unit that gives more power (i.e., 5 amps or 5.5 amps), but less power is likely to not be enough to power up your laptop.

if your talking about a plug in from a wall adaptor the plug in should not be the same size as a 3amp, just for that reason trying to run your system at different amp and or voltages is harmful to electronics. not only should it not be possible i would not try it.

I am sorry to say this, but you can't. The amount of amp is required to receive it from a connection. If you want to try it, it will be at your own risk.

No you can't you will burn it out. 4.5 amp is the minimum requirement needed to run this. You can over amp (i.e. 5amp) but never under.
