Enigma - means mystery, or something puzzling or inexplicable.
Life in itself is a harmless little puzzling mystery, but when we, humans in our own deranged and insane attempts to try to give life meaning, to try to solve it like it was a puzzle, as if there was some kind of truth to be discovered - then that is where humans find trouble.
Life is what it is... accept it and don't make it out to be such a complicated mystery.

it means that the world has always and for all intended purposes always will be a mystery. i think it means that people have become to obsorbed by the idea that they can unlock the "secrets of the universe", but that maybe they are looking for something that is not there. it simply exists in a way that can't be interpreted or explained or understood. that's what i think anyway...

Socrates said "The unexamined life is not worth living." Fine and good, but neither is the OVERexamined life. The quote implies that life has no inherent meaning and that our failure to accept that reality destroys any joy or fulfillment we can find in living.

It means we are trying to weave dreams from strands of cloud and we aren't happy when it doesn't work out the way we think it should.
At least, that's my interpretation.

that is true...we are not ment to figurre out this world ....rather to learn how to live in harmony with it.
In mans attempt to figure "everything": out...he has lost touch with the harmony. But we all must travel a path on our own and be in harmony with that is around us....the question is ...at what level or frequency do YOU find harmony at?

We dont understand the world (not just literally) so we keep making mad guesses saying its true. everyone has a different perception and it turns into a big mess.
