YOU have the problem--him!
I suggest you dump him and see a medical practitioner that can help you end the pregnancy immediately.
Shouldn't you be in school somewhere, instead of throwing up from swallowing tobacco spit?
PLEASE--find better things to do with your time!

Why would you even think about procreating with a man who is on drugs? Seriously now. And yes, drugs have an impact on sperm count and motility, so you're chances of conceiving with this guy are slimmer than they would be if he wasn't hitting the crack pipe or whatever he's doing. Think about the future your child will have, its not fair. Children need a loving and structured home, not a home where the parents who use drugs. Drinking is okay in moderation, but not BINGE drinking, especially if you are trying to conceive. Was this a serious question?

Chewing tobacco is a disgusting habit...I know because my husband chews. Don't make out with him when he has a chew in, its way too gross and swollowing his spit can cause major problems. When I was pregnant with my first child, I was soooo sick that I couldn't hold any food down and my baby stopped growing. My doctor told me that as long as I didn't over do it I should smoke pot. It gave me an appetite and stopped the nausea. My daughter is now 21, completely healthy and has 2 children of her own. Please consider using birth control. In most teenage pregnancies, the dad doesn't stick around...its just too much responsibility. I wish you the best of luck.

His chewing tobacco should not effect the baby. If YOU were chewing tobacco or smoking, you could have a small baby, but that isn't the case.
Pot and weed are the same thing and do not cause birth defects.
BF needs to go outside to smoke. The second hand smoke should not affect the baby, BUT it is just not healthy in general, and you, Mom-to-be, needs to be as healthy as possible.
If you are spitting blood, you need to see the doctor ASAP. That isn't normal (nor is it normal when you smoke cigs or pot). I suspect there is more to the story....

he shouldn't be doing this around u since u are pregnant. and yes it can effect ur baby if he continues this around u. I don't know what kinda problems ur baby may have, but u need to let ur OB know about this and jusst stay away from ur BF while he's using drugs and all. Perhaps u should try to help him to stop because this wouldn't be a good enviroment for the baby to grow up in. That is why i left my EX BF thats a father to my first born. he always smokes weed and thats about all he cares about. he can't take responsible for his kid at all and he is 20 yrs old. best of luck to you.

I'm pretty sure the baby would be fine. However, if the father doesn't stop doing drugs, there will be other problems (emotional, psychological) that would effect your child.

Yes, most definitely! Please start getting prenatal care as quickly as possible and follow the doctor's advice but you must also be honest and tell him or her about your concern for your child's health. After your baby is born your next most important step is to get away from this guy because he is not going to be the kind of dad that a child needs or would be safe to have around. Your greatest responsibility as a mother is to protect your little one and please learn to make better choices in the future. I wish you the best!

first of all dont let him smoke around you that is not healthy also addiction is heretitary/. Raise your child to now about drugs and explain to them when hey get older that it is heretitary one time of using they will become addicted also. It has been proven that if a child was born to users and adopted out and raised by someone else they still stand a big chance of becoming an addicted them selves

Okay, the juice swapping...nasty.
1. As long as you're not doing the illegal stuff, baby will NOT be affected.
2. The 2nd hand smoke could cause YOU problems leading to low birth weight.
3. After birth, smoke in any form can cause breathing problems and development problems in your baby...BAN him from smoking where you and the baby live...make him go outside to smoke cigarettes.
4. Sounds like YOU might have some lung problems from his filthy habits...talk to your OB/GYN about treatments.
5. If he cares about you and the baby, he'll stop the weed because if he's alone w/baby and spacing out on weed, your baby could be injured or killed!
6. Are you sure you wouldn't be better off without him? Sounds like he really only cares about himself.
7. Chewing causes mouth cancer and open sores, smoking causes emphysema, lung cancer, asthma, and frequent upper resp. infections. Marijuana can cause memory loss and slow reflex rates. 2nd hand smoke could cause these problems in you and your baby.
My best advice...think about yourself and your baby and tell him if he cares about you, he'll reevaluate his habits and see help if necessary.
