He should be treated just like he treated his dogs. Hold his head underwater for 30 seconds, repeatedly for about 15 minutes. Then put him in a cell with no water or food for about a week. Then make him work at the animal shelter cleaning out stalls for the next 5 years. If he wants to play ball, let him be the water boy so he has to stay on the sidelines and just watch. So he can kick his own *** for being a sick, demented jerk who wouldn't know Jesus if he was the one holding his head underwater. He's only sorry he got caught, he isn't capable of being sorry for anything.

I think Mike Vick was sincere...but was he sorry that he was caught, was he sorry that the public would view him as a monster, is he sorry because he allowed himself to partake in an atrocity that harm and killed so many dogs or is this genuinely a wake up call? I think this is the time to donate lots of money and time to stray animals in need of homes. No. I think he should have to sit out (without pay) of football for a season and renegotiate his contract for less money.

I think he is just another famous person who screwed up, and his publicist told him to make a public apology, so he did. Of course he sounded sincere. That is what an apology is meant to sound like. I do not think he should be let back into the NFL, he did an awful thing, and letting him back in gives the NFL a bad name.

I agree with the first poster; he's only sorry he got caught. When the allegations first came out he was all "I'm innocent, I'm innocent," now he got caught and he says he's not going to point fingers at anyone else. I also heard someone say that Vick claimed to have "found God." Wow, that happened quick, now didn't it?
As for the NFL, I think he ought to be booted out.

If this was 'racist crap' as someone said, why then did he plead guilty..and why were others testifying about his involvement?
Nope, this is just another example of a wasted talent allowing their own press clippings to go to their head. Personally, I hope that he never gets to play another game in the NFL or any other league either. They banned Pete Rose for gambling...the only hurt there was his own wallet, not to mention trust.

Nope, not at all. He is just trying to save what little pride he has left. That part about finding Jesus... funny how when someone gets down in the dumps they automatically find Jesus. I think he needs to do his time and get on with his life, but he should not return to football.

Hell no. That @sshole doesn't care about the animals.
He has a great chance and he blew it. God knows why, he had money and everything he needed.
I say he should rot in jail for a few years, and never play pro football again.

I think what he should have said is, "I'm sorry that I got caught & I have found Jesus in the bottom of a beer bottle!"
