If Hillary is the candidate of women, is it fair to ask her if she condones her husband’s philandering and alleged rape? It seems the press is afraid to ask her that.

Yes.
According to Gennifer Flowers, Bill's "big love".
Bill and Hillary had a business arrangement when they got married. He could discretely have his "girl friends", and Hillary could have her "girl friends".
Bill & Hillary met while dating the same girl, and they hit it off politically.
Their marriage was all Politics.
I never criticized Clinton for all his girlfriends, because it was okay and encouraged by Hillary.

But Juanita Broderick had pictures of her face that Clinton put 19 stitches in when he alledgey raped her.
She didn't "come out" until after the 7 years were up. She had been afraid for her life, until other women "came out" about being attacked by Clinton.
(All the women that Clinton attacked were Democrat Women, so it kind of served them right.)

Well no its not really a valid question. This is a personal issue between a husband and a wife. Its in poor taste and is similar to asking what kind of sex do they like. Inappropriate.

Would you ask Pres Bush about his daughters partners? No, its personal.

I would be more comfortable if the press concentrated on trade issues with china, central america and europe, if they asked about mediating in the middle east or North Korea or in Zimbabwe, if they asked about dealings with Hugo Chavez, and Castro's caretaker government, if they asked about domestic infrastructure, health and education.

Asking about her feelings on her husbands alleged failings are really not part of the job application of PRESIDENT OF THE USA!!!

If Hillary is the candidate of women she is giving up half of the vote before she gets started.
If she's serious she will be the candidate of all Americans.

the press stopped asking tough questions years ago.

i have heard of no rape, but any other things should be asked - that is if you want that level of question of ALL candidates.

should giuliani be asked about his family - or why he announced his divorce to his first wife with a press conference - or why his own kids don't support his candidacy.

should fred thompson be asked about his being a lobbyist for a family planning corporation.

i say 'yes' to all.

the press needs to stop worrying about access and start asking the tough questions.

if they do, we may actually find out why the bush admin started the iraq war...

It's a bit like prostitution. Sell your self respect to get something else you want more.
