Oh yea! Rarely will a song make me pay attention, most of the lyrics are weak at best, have no value or originality.
BUT... there are a few that could have been taken from my thoughts and life and moved me

Oh sure...they are some:
"Ohne Dich" performed by Rammstein -, in fact a cover by Schiller - was the song that moved me when my beloved dog died.
"One" - by U2 - was the song that made my ex and me shiver..together with Leonard Cohen's "Boogie Street", or Coldplay's "Fix You".
