It was actually fun for me the first few months. People were asking intelligent questions(mostly) and I was more than happy to give my advice or opinion. Lately I can look at questions for days at a time before I find a question that is worth responding to and now all of this racist stuff is going on. Hopefull it will change when the pre-teens and the teens go back to school.

How long have you been gone? It only took a week for me to find out some of the people here are nuts and others are bored to the point of being rude and reporting others for fun.
There are a lot of really nice people here, but the ignorant and rude ones are making it really hard to get along.

I'll admit, P&S is getting a little weird. I really like it here but the invasion of trolls is pissing me off! Even when they're reported constantly it takes forever for their accounts to be deleted and I'm sick of all this random, unnecessary rudeness, the racists invading P&S, jerks like $mitty rising from the dead and such! I try not to let them bother me. I laugh at how pathetic they are and all their nonsense. Just enjoy P&S and Y!A while you can. That's what I'm doing =]

I think that we may just see a bunch of bored, imature people here sometimes. I usually post useful answers. Sometimes I get annoyed with "Am I pregnant?!?" or "Make me an outfit!?" I generally answer the education, medical, Psychology or parenting questions. All sections DO have some great questions, though. I gave you a star for your question! A great one! :)

Most people are ignorant.
Y!A is anonymous, so people feel like they can troll away, flame away, be stupid, be obnoxious, etc. etc.
The only way to improve Y!A is to make everyone not anonymous, but then, that would stop a lot of 'good' people from hanging around too...

I'm really offended by you! Whilst I would agree some answers/people are 'odd' the majority seem very nice indeed. They post good answers, often laced with a sense of humour. And I'm really brite, too.

There's ignorant people all over. But i think the majority of them on Yahoo answer do that for attention. If you ignore them you'll be fine.

I think it is almost impossible to be on this site and not offend anyone. Someone is always going to find something to get upset about. The best you can do is just keep going and not let it get to you too much.
