No.
Hope is what can turn your life into tiny litttle pieces.
Hope can be like a life long walk to the exact same place.
Meaning, you hope and hope and hope for something that usually never ends up happening.
The next thing you know, your back where you started.
I've learned that hope is *NOTHING* without the will, motivation and determination to make it true..
Im not saying that you should never have hope,
im just saying that you should hope realistically..
Otherwise it's nothing more than you having faith in a wish that *maybe* it might come true.

As long as there is hope, I have a reason to keep trying.

Hope that someday things will be different? Hope that someday I will be truly happy? Hope that there is a person out there somewhere who truly loves me? Hope that I'm not going to die before I'm actually happy?

Yes. And if it's not hope... Then it must be the super glue and duct tape!

Hope is belief and belief is little more than you depending on magic to find "it."
Find your goal, and don't "hope" you get there; focus on getting it, him/her or what ever it takes that fits into your values and let's you sleep at night or "hope" your life away.
