ok i have a few questions about it and if you guys can answers them all that would be great, first doesnt micahel myers get hs get chopped with an axe in one of his movies in the end but i think jamie lee curtis? and second what is the story of the upcoming movie halloween? i thought that his sister or watever laurie died but shes back in the new movie.

THE NEW MOVIE IS A REMAKE!!!!!!! IT'S AN UPDATED REMAKE OF PART ONE! THE MOVIE THAT MICHAEL GOT HIT WITH AN AXE WAS PART 8 (H20). IT WAS REVEALED IN PART 9 (HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION) THAT THE GUY WHO GOT HIS HEAD CHOPPED OFF WASN'T MICHAEL, IT WAS A PARAMEDIC WHO MICHAEL SWITCHED CLOTHES WITH. JAMIE LEE CURTIS DID DIE IN THE LAST ONE (HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION), BUT SINCE THE NEW ONE IS A REMAKE OF PART ONE HIS SISTER WILL BE IN THIS ONE (PLAYED BY SOMEONE ELSE THOUGH). SHE'S BEING PLAYED BY A YOUNGER ACTRESS, SCOUT TAYLOR-COMPTON. THIS "REMAKE" IS GOING TO EXPLORE MICHAELS MIND AND THE MOTIVES BEHIND HIS KILLING! I KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT MOVIE!!!

I dont know about his sister laurie being in the new one, his niece is in it, the little girl from part 5. But michael did not get his head chopped off. Laurie thought it was him, but it ended up being some guy(a paramedic). Michael attacked him, crushed his larynx(so he couldnt talk), put his mask on him, and laurie chopped the paramedic head off. The new movie is not a re-make!

OK. I'm a horror movie buff. NOT A CRITIC. What really intrigues me, is that this version is directed by Rob Zobbie. He's got a really good slant on horror movies. His last one, The Devil's Rejects, was really something. By sheer coincidence, I've followed the acting of Sid Haig, who played the clown guy. Anyway, no matter what has occured in the others, this should be interesting. One way or the other, I won't miss it.

when his head was chopped off, in the next movie (Ressurection?) they said that is was the paramedic who michael had severed his vocal chords and placed the mask on him. the new movie is a remake of the original halloween movie. oh and yeah laurie has died, but it's a horror movie and noone really dies in horror movies.

I thought the new one was just a remake of the original, so the ending of a later one wouldnt matter, i dont know about his sister being in this one.
